Kosovo registration deadline extended for three days

PRISTINA, 14 July 2000 - The OSCE Head of Mission Daan Everts has announced a three-day extension of the deadline for the Civil and Voter Registration process.
The extension will be effective from Monday 17 July to Wednesday 19 July on a Kosovo-wide basis.
All registration sites will be open from 10:00 hours until 19:00 hours on these days to accommodate increased participation in the registration process within the past few days.
No decision has been taken yet on any further extension. However, it would be on a much smaller scale and in response to demand at local level.
