OSCE Dialogue Academy on women's involvement in dialogue and policy-making

The OSCE Dialogue Academy gathered 22 young women activists from civil society and youth organizations, students and young professionals from Prishtinë/Priština and Belgrade to hear about mediation and negotiation techniques, and ways to use them to improve their position in political parties and political life.

The Academy held from 27 November to 6 December 2015 in Stadtschlaining, Austria as part of an OSCE-supported initiative Follow us brings together prominent women in the fields of politics, the media, academia, and civil society from Prishtinë/Priština and Belgrade.

The Dialogue Academy aimed at encouraging women to play a stronger role in peace building, negotiation processes and decision-making and to increase their prospects for being a vehicle for contributing to normalization of relations between Prishtinë/Priština and Belgrade.

Through seminars held by scholars and experts, participants learned about technics for mediation and negotiations, gender equality, women and youth in political parties, and challenges of women participation in politics.
