About
Through a series of four workshops the Mission will help establish Consultative Committees in the following municipalities: Junik on 18 May, Klinë/Klina on 25 May, Istog/Istok on 26 May and Pejë/Pec on 15 June.
Consultative Committees are a key participatory mechanism for the civil society on the municipal level. The workshops will bring together active civil society members and municipal officials to discuss challenges to public participation in municipal decision-making processes and the establishment of the committees .
The workshops are an integral part of the Mission’s effort to establish and strengthen key civil society participation mechanisms, including Consultative Committees and Local Youth Action Councils.
