About
The OSCE Mission in Kosovo is supporting the broadcast of ten TV debates to help inform the public about the implementation of legislation and actions taken by central-level institutions, including the Assembly.
Based on the challenges presented in the 2011 European Commission Progress Report and the legislative agenda in Kosovo, the following debate topics were selected:
27 September: Draft laws on the Public Broadcaster and the Independent Media and Broadcasting Commission
4 October: Women's representation in institutions
12 October: EC 2011 Kosovo Progress Report
25 October: Management of agricultural land
8 November: Kosovo 2012 Budget
15 November: Local government reform and functioning of municipalities
29 November: Draft Law on Government
13 December: Independent institutions' challenges and Assembly's role
20 December: Rule of law
27 December: Public procurement challenges
These debates will air on RTK – the Kosovo-wide public broadcaster, in the original languages of the debates, as well as in the Serbian language on TV Puls.
