Overview
The Mission monitors and reports on the work of the courts to strengthen Kosovo justice institutions and to improve the justice system’s performance. The Mission also provides capacity-building support, working with local institutions, including the Kosovo Academy of Justice and Kosovo Bar Association, to develop training for judges, prosecutors, lawyers and other professionals working in the justice system.

Trial Monitoring Report on the Adjudication of Domestic Violence Cases in Kosovo
This report aims to provide an objective, evidence-based and current assessment of the handling of domestic violence cases by Kosovo courts, based on an analysis of cases directly monitored by OSCE trial monitors, as well as legal submissions and court rulings, between 1 January and 1 December 2023.

Sentencing in cases of illegal possession of weapons
This report provides an analysis of data from cases of illegal possession of weapons collected by the OSCE Mission in Kosovo trial monitoring programme from December 2020 to August 2023 and assesses court sentencing practices for compliance with fair trial and international human rights standards, with a particular focus on fair and consistent sentencing.
