Human rights and community rights

OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities Christophe Kamp visited Kosovo from 25 to 29 August 2025, where he met with the authorities in Prishtinë/Priština. He also met representatives of non-majority communities, religious leaders and civil society organizations, as well as members of the international community.

Today, the Acting Head of the OSCE Mission in Kosovo, Cornelia Taylor, visited Mitrovicë/Mitrovica region to engage with local organizations supporting people with disabilities and survivors of domestic violence, and to meet with women editors and journalists. The visit began at “Podrži Me”, an inter-community daycare center for people with disabilities, where Taylor met its representatives, and Anastasija Đorđević of the youth-led initiative Young Leaders for Kosovo. Discussions focused on the challenges of working with diverse communities and people with disabilities.
