Strengthening implementation of the cultural heritage legislation is an important part of the Mission’s work in Kosovo.

As part of its work in this field, the Mission advocates for the effective implementation of legislation to protect the Special Protective Zones, supports local authorities in their work to protect cultural heritage and works with youth to develop their skills and knowledge, including stimulation of inter-community dialogue through cultural heritage.
